Bonjour Patrizio,

Voici ma petite histoire (Marco Principe 16 ans)
Depuis que je suis petit, je veux être dans la télévision.
Nous étions en auto et nous avons entendu à la radio une publicité
concernant JOHN ROBERT POWERS pour des auditions.
Nous avons téléphoné pour prendre rendez-vous et nous nous sommes présentés,
on nous rappelle pour nous dire que j'ai bien réussi l'audition.

Nous signons un contrat le 20 novembre 2009 mais nous gelons le contrat jusqu'apres les fêtes car je suis un joueur de hockey et j'avais un tournoi juste avant les fêtes.

Mais j'avais le droit de faire des auditions quand même sans avoir commencé mes cours.
Je passe une audition (seulement 2 semaine après) pour une agence de mannequin (DULCEDO) et à ma surprise " ils veulent que je signe un contrat avec eux pour trois ans "
IMAGINEZ, JE COMMENCE MES COURS SEULEMENT LE 31 JANVIER 2010.

Congratulations to ALEXIS LOUIS! Who while attending one of our Montreal JRP open casting calls caught the eye of TOTAL CASTING Director Helene Rousse. Through TOTAL CASTING Alexis landed a singing gig for MUSIMISSION (13 Episodes) for TVO!

A RISING PERFORMER

Le directeur de l’académie John Robert Powers Montréal, Patrizio Sanzari, a eu le plaisir de travailler avec le jeune talent Nick Rodrigues à John Robert Powers Calgary. Depuis, Nick a continué à accomplir de grandes choses. Voici une lettre de Mme. Rodrigues dédiée à John Robert Powers. Dans les derniers mois, Nick a travaillé dans des annonces publicitaires télévisées, en film et en fashion print. Il vient de terminer le tournage du film When the Devil Knocks, avec CBS, qui sortira à l’automne 2010. Nick a récemment gagné l'Idole junior de Calgary aussi bien que la Compétition de Talent du Collège des Maîtres. Il a chanté à plusieurs événements et beaucoup d’autres performances sont programmées tout au long de l’année 2010.

While at John Robert Powers Calgary, our Montreal Academy Director Patrizio Sanzari had the pleasure of working with young talent Nick Rodrigues. Since then Nick has gone on to accomplish great things. Here is a letter from Mrs. Rodrigues to John Robert Powers:

To JRP Calgary,
Nick enrolled at JRP Calgary in September of 2007. Since then Nick has taken several classes and also gone through IPOP training for IACT and ISING. His first year with JRP was filled with many auditions and several callbacks but I must say The highlight was participating in iPOP. The Calgary kids were so supportive of each other and it was wonderful to get to know them and their parents better. We were so proud to be part of that group. All the hard work and training paid
off. Nick was fortunate enough to receive eleven callbacks at iPOP and was signed By an agent and a manager from California, as well as one from Calgary shortly after returning home. Nick has traveled to Los Angeles and New York for auditions and done some auditions on tape as well in the past few months. For our family and for Nick in particular the JRP experience has been a great one. Thank you to everyone at JRP who helped make this possible.

In the last several months Nick has been in commercials for TV, Film & Print. He just finished filming a CBC movie called 'When the Devil Knocks' which will air in the fall of 2010. Nick recently won Calgary Junior Idol as well as Masters College Talent Competition. He has been singing at several events since with more performances scheduled throughout 2010.

I am writing to express my gratitude for everything John Robert Powers Montreal has done for me. Your teaching methods have opened my eyes and showed me a different world and given me the self confidence to express myself in public and to my peers, which I was lacking in the past. Today I am self assured, motivated and more aware of my environment. The school I attend and my father have noticed great changes in my personality, for the best I assure you.
My grades have improved markedly over the past months since attending John Robert Powers due to the self awareness and assuredness I now have. With the coaching which was given to me by un-believable teachers such as, Karl Graboshas and Michelle Boback, who by there wit, patience and care opened my outlook when I began learning. Luc de Bruin and Julien Boissaud teaching me monologue. Julien I can’t wait to attend your French linguistic classes!!
Kent McQuaid, my most trusted and best teacher at the John Robert Powers School who has thought me Film Scene Study and now Advanced Master Scene Class. By his outstanding teaching methods, Patience, care and continual reassurance has enlightened and motivated me to pursue my dream and to follow in his footsteps.
Last but not least Patrizio Sanzari and Bianca who have always shown me so much patience and genuine care when I needed someone to talk to, I have the utmost admiration and love. While it's up to me now, the initial results would not have been possible without your support.
To the students who attend my classes and made the time spent at J.R.P. Montreal so much fun I love you all. PSSssssst! Sabrina you are the best!!
An opportunity is little more than two forces combining to create a desired effect. I believe that thanks to John Robert Powers Montreal such a situation exists if people are willing to work hard but always to remember that this must be also FUN.
