A RISING PERFORMER

Le directeur de l’académie John Robert Powers Montréal, Patrizio Sanzari, a eu le plaisir de travailler avec le jeune talent Nick Rodrigues à John Robert Powers Calgary. Depuis, Nick a continué à accomplir de grandes choses. Voici une lettre de Mme. Rodrigues dédiée à John Robert Powers. Dans les derniers mois, Nick a travaillé dans des annonces publicitaires télévisées, en film et en fashion print. Il vient de terminer le tournage du film When the Devil Knocks, avec CBS, qui sortira à l’automne 2010. Nick a récemment gagné l'Idole junior de Calgary aussi bien que la Compétition de Talent du Collège des Maîtres. Il a chanté à plusieurs événements et beaucoup d’autres performances sont programmées tout au long de l’année 2010.

While at John Robert Powers Calgary, our Montreal Academy Director Patrizio Sanzari had the pleasure of working with young talent Nick Rodrigues. Since then Nick has gone on to accomplish great things. Here is a letter from Mrs. Rodrigues to John Robert Powers:

To JRP Calgary,
Nick enrolled at JRP Calgary in September of 2007. Since then Nick has taken several classes and also gone through IPOP training for IACT and ISING. His first year with JRP was filled with many auditions and several callbacks but I must say The highlight was participating in iPOP. The Calgary kids were so supportive of each other and it was wonderful to get to know them and their parents better. We were so proud to be part of that group. All the hard work and training paid
off. Nick was fortunate enough to receive eleven callbacks at iPOP and was signed By an agent and a manager from California, as well as one from Calgary shortly after returning home. Nick has traveled to Los Angeles and New York for auditions and done some auditions on tape as well in the past few months. For our family and for Nick in particular the JRP experience has been a great one. Thank you to everyone at JRP who helped make this possible.

In the last several months Nick has been in commercials for TV, Film & Print. He just finished filming a CBC movie called 'When the Devil Knocks' which will air in the fall of 2010. Nick recently won Calgary Junior Idol as well as Masters College Talent Competition. He has been singing at several events since with more performances scheduled throughout 2010.
