Director: Ian Donald. This a student commercial. It is about the adventure a 20 to 25 year old P.A who is trying to bring the first cup of coffee to all of the crew that she works with. We then follow with the story of the Cameraman,production manager,actrice and boom operator.

Looking for:
1. Female / 18-24 yrs. / Any Ethnicity.
P.A: She is a hard working P.A. who tries to do everything that is asked of her.

2. Male / 31-40 yrs. / Any Ethnicity.
P.M : He is trying to make everything run smoothly. Having trouble cause his crew are very tired.

3. Male / 41-50 yrs. / Any Ethnicity.
He is good at what he does and knows it. Trying to get his shot done as quickly as he can but is having a bad day with the people because he is working with.He can be a kind of a know it all.

4. Male / 25-30 yrs. / Any Ethnicity.
Boom operator: New in the crew and trying to make a good impression but he is very nervous.

5. Female / 31-40 yrs. / Any Ethnicity.
Actress: She is extremely nervous and tries to get her line memories.

Director: Sergey Levchin. A short documentary project is looking for a sleight-of-hand magician. Auditions will be held Nov. 6-8. Please respond with a brief bio and a description of the trick you would like to perform at the audition. Please get in touch to find out more about the project and the proposed shooting dates. Also, please indicate preferred audition date/time.

Looking for: Either gender / Any yrs. / Any Ethnicity. We are looking for one sleight-of-hand magician - of any age/gender/ethnicity. Director: Matthew Zambito. As a young police officer copes with his haunted past, he is visited by an Unknown Man through his dreams. The Unknown Man informs him that he has a destiny beyond this world...A destiny he cannot avoid.

Alex - A brave police officer who has trouble living his daily life because of a terrifying incident during childhood. He must have an athletic build, & handsome, all-American look, with a strong and serious personality.

Following his workshops with JOHN ROBERT POWERS Montreal and his trip to IPOP LAS VEGAS, Our very own DANIEL DIVENERE has been quite busy.

He currently attends several coaching sessions with our artistic director PATRIZIO SANZARI

In addition to being considered for several movie roles such as Bernie on Being Human, we are very pleased to announce that he just finished filming his first music video appearance with county music sensation GEORGE CANYON in Toronto. This video will be aired on CMT.

Comme les auditions serviront également de tournage, les talents devront arriver sur le plateau prêt (maquillage et coiffure). Une maquilleuse sera sur le plateau pour les retouches. Nous contacterons les talents choisit dès que les producteurs feront leur choix finaux pour signer les fiches de libérations de droits.

Since the auditions will also serve as the shooting, the talent must come to the auditions with their hair and make-up done. A make-up artist will be on set for touch-ups. As soon as the final choice is made by the producers, we will contact the chosen talent for them to sign the release form.

WOW MOVIE ROLE FOR KARL GRABOSHAS!! -JRP TEACHER/PROFESSEUR

Karl Graboshas, un de nos professeur d'acting à JRP Montréal vient de dénicher un role dans le nouveau film avec Sean William Scott, Jay Baruchel, Alison Scott, et Liev Shreiver. Il jouera le role d'un joueur de hockey russe plûtot arrogant, appelé Igor (un role principal), qui fait partie de la même équipe que Sean William Scott (American Pie). Le film s'appelle Goon et traite d'une équipe de hockey mineur.

Bravo à Karl et nous avons hâte de voir un de nos profs au grand écran!

Karl Graboshas, one of our teachers here at JRP Montreal just landed a leading role in an upcoming movie that will be shot in Winnipeg, called Goon. The movie will star Sean William Scott, Jay Baruchel, Alison Scott, and Liev Shreiver. Karl will be playing a cocky russian minor league hockey player named Igor (a principal role), who is a teammate of Sean William Scott's character(Sean is famous for his role in American Pie). The movie is based on the book by Doug Smith and Adam Frattasio, Goon: The True Story of an Unlikely Journey into Minor League Hockey.

Congrats to Karl and we are excited to see one of our teachers on the big screen!!!

Nous sommes présentement en train de préparer notre session d'obtobre 2010. Comme toujours, les cours offerts sont le chant, "acting" et le mannequinat. Nous sommes très heureux d'avoir parmi nous Hondo Flemming, notre nouveau professeur pour "acting" et pour le mannequinat. Ce sera sa deuxième session parmi nous! De plus, notre session d'orientation pour parents et élèves aura lieu le mercredi, 20 octobre 2010. Les cours vont commencer le samedi suivant la rencontre, soit le 23 octobre 2010 et le showcase sera le 6 novembre 2010.

We are currently working on our upcoming session for the month of October 2010. As usual, our offered classes are vocals, acting and modelling. We are very proud to have as part of our team the very talented Hondo Flemming, our new teacher for acting and modelling. It will be Hondo's second session of teaching here at JRP. Suite à IPOP Las Vegas 2010, Emily Essain n'a pas encore choisi quelle agence aura le privilège de la représenter. Emily continue de suivre des cours ici à John Robert Powers Montréal. Elle a participé au showcase du mois d'août et du mois de septembre. Elle a également auditionné pour “The Wizard of Oz” à New York le 11 septembre 2010. FAITH PICKEN BIENTÔT À JRP MONTREAL!!---COMING SOON TO JRP MONTREAL!!

JRP Montreal aimerait féliciter et encourager Faith Picken, future élève de JRP, ici à Montréal. Faith a été choisi par Farinaz Farzadnia, gérante et directrice de talent à JRP Calgary au mois d'août 2010. Depuis, l'actrice et chanteuse travaille fort dans le but de lancer sa carrière et de poursuivre ses rêves. Elle est présentement en pleine campaigne de levée de fonds afin de pouvoir suivre des cours à notre académie JRP Montréal.

Plusieurs artistes locaux se sont réunient afin de performer en l'honneur de Faith lors de son dernier concert bénéfice qui a eu lieu à Brome, à Québec. Le concert s'est tenu ce samedi 2 octobre 2010. C'est très inspirant de voir toute une communauté se réunir afin de venir en aide à une jeune artiste!

Nous souhaitons à Faith beaucoup de succès et nous avons très hâte de travailler avec toi à notre académie, ici à Montréal!

JRP Montreal would like to congratulate and show its support to Faith Picken, future student of JRP. Faith was chosen by JRP Calgary's Manager and Talent Director, Farinaz Farzadnia in August 2010. Since then, the budding singer and actress has been relentless in pursuing her dream. She is currently doing a fundraising campaign towards her goal of attending John Robert Powers Montreal.

Several local artists came together to perform in Faith's honour in her latest benefit concert taking place in Brome, Quebec. The concert was held Saturday, October 2nd. It is inspiring to see a community working unitedly to help a young performer!

Best of luck Faith and we are looking foward to working with you in our academy in Montreal!

Faith Picken, 13 ans... et la tête pleine de rêves!

Faith Picken, une jeune Brighamoise âgée de 13 ans, sera en vedette lors d'un spectacle à la salle Fairview de Brome, ce samedi 2 octobre. Fan avouée du Disney Channel, la jeune Faith Picken admire le talent de chanteuses telles Miley Cyrus et Selena Gomez. Âgée de 13 ans, cette Brighamoise sera la vedette d'un spectacle ce samedi 2 octobre, à 19h, à la salle Fairview (sur le site de l'Exposition de Brome).

C'est depuis l'âge de 7 ans que Faith nourrit une grande passion pour la musique. «Quelques membres de la famille, dont moi-même, adorent chanter. Et mon mari, Robert, aime bien interpréter du Elvis Presley. Je ne suis donc pas surprise que ma fille se lance dans ce domaine», lance en souriant Janice Harvey-Picken.

Afin de réaliser son rêve de faire carrière en chanson, Faith prend les grands moyens. En compagnie d'artistes de la région, elle présente un spectacle-bénéfice afin de défrayer des cours à l'école John Robert Powers, à Montréal. Une telle formation coûte quelques milliers de dollars, mentionne sa mère Janice.

«Nous sommes privilégiés de compter sur des artistes tels Amos Joannides, Robyn Cheyenne-Hughes, Caroline Bouchard, Katlyn Hughes et Sarah Biggs pour cette belle soirée. Et Productions Erickson nous commandite pour la sonorisation. Ils ont vraiment un grand coeur!», déclare-t-elle.

Lors du spectacle de samedi, Faith fera quelques duos. Et elle interprétera six chansons en solo.
«J'aime bien le pop, avec parfois quelques touches country. Et parmi mon répertoire, il y a une reprise blues de I Will Always Love You, popularisée par Dolly Parton et Whitney Houston», mentionne la jeune chanteuse.
