"As author, director and artistic director of the MOYO Collective, Ally Ntumba collects and interprets personal stories of members of the Congolese community with the objective of conceiving a performance with a wide scope incorporating theater, dance and music.

This project seeks to provoke increased interest in the performing arts amongst youth and young adults within communities and to promote their active participation in Montreal’s socio-political life. Ntumba also wishes to created and strengthen relationships with other immigrant and refugee communities. "

MY EXPERIENCE MY DREAM

It's been exactly 1 year that I have been attending JRP school and I love it! I have tried a lot of fun classes and I have also had a lot of auditions including an audition to go to IPOP Los Angeles 2010, and guess what? I GOT PICKED! I went and had 6 callbacks. I had so much fun and I'm going back to Los Angeles the 12th of February to hopefully sign a contract. I also had a callback from MMG NY, and I am suppose to meet them when i get back from L.A. John Robert Powers changed my life in a good way, it made me realize that i do love acting and it will never change!

THE BREAK DOWN

My journey began when I registered for JRP in March of 2008. After taking a few classes, such as Monologue, I got accepted into IPOP. I was part of the Vancouver 2008 group that travel for a week in September. It was an amazing experience for me because I got to interact with many agents and other actors. It's because of IPOP and JRP that I got a call back from the agency MMG. They are currently representing me. I traveled to meet them in New York and was then sent to Toronto for a few auditions. I've taken so many classes here at JRP in the last two years, my favorite being the scene study classes because I get to work with other actors one on one. I look forward to learning more about the business in my last year.

MY DREAM

Mon Rêve
J’adore jouer la comédie, ça me passionne car je peux être qui j’ai envie d’étre. Je reviens tout juste de IPOP et ça l’a été une expérience exceptionnelle ou la dure compétition m’a appris de nouvelles et différentes techniques sur mon jeu d’acteur. La chance et mon talent se sont rencontrés, ce qui ma permis de recevoir plus de 20 rappels et différents prix.
Jai toujours voulu travaillé pour la chaîne de Disney ou pour la télévision en général. Mon but est de ne jamais abandonner et de travailler à atteindre mon rêve, car peu importe ce qui arrive, je saurai que je n’ai jamais abandonné.

My Dream

I love to act , acting is my thing because I can be anyone I want to be. I have just come back from IPOP and its was an amazing experience. I learned so many new and different techniques and the competition was great. My luck and my skills came together and made me succeed at IPOP. I received over 20 callbacks and various awards. I would always dream to be on Disney channel or on TV. My goal right now is to not give up and follow my dream because no matter what happens, I know I didn’t give up.
